D1: Justifying the planned interactivity and range of media content to meet a client brief

M2: Legal and ethical

In this report I will be looking at the legal and ethical issues that I may come by when I am creating my website. This is needed to avoid any issues that may occur during the production of my website.    During the creation of my website, I will be considering the legal issue of copyright, to avoid having any issues with Doncaster UTC I will be asking for permission to use their logo and ask for permission if I was allowed to make a website based on the college. For example, I will be asking for permission if I am allowed to use their logo , images of their building, images from their Facebook pages and their Instagram account. I will be using a model release because if I use any people for my website, I will gather a stating I have permission from them to use t he photos on my website. Student council website where students can then post updates, quizzes and questions for the students.  I have been tasked to create a website for the student council for Doncaster UTC where the student council can then post quizzes, questions and update for the other students to then be able to access. This product will include interactive media features that gives the website a more professional view, this website will support the student council from giving them the freedom to then post onto the website aimed at just the students of Doncaster UTC this means the website will specifically be aimed at the students and be run by the students themselves. A platform is an area where consumers, producers and readers can learn information and can  interface  more efficiently. The main platforms that there  are  webpages, blogs, apps, CD/DVDs, kiosks, interactive  TV,  and mobile phones.    Webpage    Webpages are used by companies to give the audience more of an insight to their company and their products they may have, they give information on their buildings, company brands etc. This platform is used by companies to then grow their company from reaching a wider range of audience.
